What is an Accelerator?

EP3 Accelerators are not incubators or venture funds. They are rule-based coordination environments, curated by the EP3 Foundation, where organizations and individuals pool what they already have: infrastructure, compliance frameworks, contractual rights, AI systems, and enterprise relationships. An Accelerator converts these existing assets into interoperable Exchange Networks and shared Resource Pools, governed by the Unified Trust Model (UTM), the network's common framework for trust, compliance, and ownership rights.

Each Accelerator, formally a Quantum Privacy Accelerator (QPA), operates as a distinct, self-organizing innovation network within the Quantum Privacy Exchange (QPX, formerly the Privacy Network Exchange, PNX). It combines the Proof of Trust compliance layer, Quantum Privacy Cells (QPCs), and Quantum Privacy Networks to enable decentralized innovation, lawful capital formation, and continuous process optimization under verified compliance. Because the network overlays the systems organizations already run, an Accelerator launches through configuration and lawful enablement, not multi-year rebuilds or new capital programs. Early Accelerators run on existing technologies and conventional legal agreements, and migrate seamlessly to full end-to-end Quantum Privacy enforcement as the Exchange matures.

How Accelerators fund themselves

Accelerators do not depend on venture capital or centralized budgets. The network is designed to be crowdsourced, self-funding, and self-organizing, and four mechanisms reinforce each other. The network is self-organizing: adoption and value creation emerge from incentive-aligned participation rather than centralized rollout. Launch work is crowdsourced through the QPN Catalyst Network, with contributors earning QP Rewards delivered as allocations of the network's own tokens. Building new capability costs little, because Accelerators reuse infrastructure, contracts, and economic activity that already exist and are already paid for. And the Quantum Privacy Innovation & Investment Network (QPIIN) and the QP Meta Fund connect investors to the network as a whole, raising capital through financial instruments backed by the network's token pools.

From day one, participants can enter legally binding Inter-QPC agreements: standard commercial contracts that specify resource commitments, funding, and how performance translates into rights to Accelerator Tokens and other economic instruments. No token infrastructure and no new regulation are required for an Accelerator to be self-funding from the start. Each EP3-managed shared Accelerator allocates 20% to its Incentive & Investment Pool, which rewards verified enablement and activation rather than speculative capital or equity grants.

How Accelerators connect to QPN Catalyst

Every contribution to an Accelerator flows through the same attribution and reward mechanism. QPN Catalyst captures contributions, from introductions and meetings to partnerships and deployments, and links them into contribution graphs: causal chains that connect each contribution to the outcome it helped create. When settlement activates on the QPX and Exchange Tokens flow back through the graph, every participant in the chain earns a share proportional to their verified causal role, weighted by Unified Trust Model Premiums, which favor early, strategic, and high-impact contributions. Recording a contribution is simple: CC a Catalyst intake address on the relevant email.
